Jim Ratcliffe, the minority owner of Manchester United, hopes to buy Harry Kane during the summer transfer window, and the Old Trafford supporters will undoubtedly be pleased with Thierry Henry’s assessment of the former Tottenham Hotspur striker.

In the summer transfer window, Manchester United is looking to add a striker to their lineup and is eager to get Harry Kane back in the Premier League.

For £86 million, Kane left Tottenham Hotspur to join Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 (BBC Sport).

Last week, HITC revealed that United had “a concrete interest” in Kane and intends to recruit a new striker during the summer transfer window.

Kane is thought to be the best choice, according to HITC, and INEOS and minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe are already evaluating what the Red Devils need to do at the end of the season to develop a competitive club.

Thierry Henry’s decision

Speaking about Kane on Sky Sports, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has remarked on the striker’s completeness and how well he is performing at Bayern.

Henry stated to Sky Sports—as reported by The Daily Mail—that Harry Kane’s development has been remarkable. This is the reason I said that it doesn’t matter if your goals don’t show you winning trophies. 

“These people can score any goal. Any pass coming in midfield and he is already gone. Look at how calm he is. Little flick, everything it does is calm, he is composed, he sees. Can I have to take technique as the technique?

“I asked Kane if he wanted to increase his assist total when I saw him. “To be honest, I’m not happy with my assists and I should do more,” the man uttered. You know what, I respect those that speak and provide evidence for their claims.

“And you can see, really, how complete a striker he is. As I’ve mentioned numerous times, when we talk about complete strikers, we’re talking about Patrick Kluivert. You played against him, and we talked about him. While he wasn’t the greatest striker in history, he was a complete striker who could do it all. Kane is capable of everything.

He is able to play through the lines, ping the ball to the winger, and enter the middle to take the ball off the holding midfielder. Right now, Kane is playing like a full-fledged striker.

Teddy Sheringham thinks highly of Kane, who is a legend in the Premier League. At Bayern, he has been performing incredibly well. Although the Bavarian powerhouses are experiencing a terrible season, the 30-year-old striker’s performance should not be diminished.

In 24 Bundesliga games this season, the England international striker has five assists and 27 goals. This season, in seven UEFA Champions League games, the former Spurs star has four goals and three assists.

In 320 games, Kane recorded 213 goals and 46 assists while playing in the Premier League. The striker would, in my opinion, be a fantastic addition to United during the summer transfer window.
