‘Unstoppable’: Erik ten Hag says 26-year-old Manchester United player could destroy Manchester City

In Sunday’s Manchester derby, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will play Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

While Manchester City wants to win the league championship yet again, Manchester United wants to place among the top four teams in the Premier League this year.

United of Erik ten Hag had 44 points from 26 games, good for sixth place in the league standings. After 27 games, Aston Villa, who are now in fourth place, are 11 points ahead of the Red Devils.

City, who have finished second in the standings for the last three seasons, have won the Premier League title. With four less games played than leaders Liverpool, Pep Guardiola’s team has amassed 59 points from 26 games.

When Manchester United plays Manchester City, Marcus Rashford is expected to be a standout.

The Citizens are the favourites going into Sunday’s Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium, but United manager Ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford may be a huge asset for the Red Devils and help them defeat Guardiola’s squad.

It is probable that Rashford will start for United in the Manchester derby. Although he is better off beginning wide and cutting in, Ten Hag might use the 26-year-old as a central striker.

As reported by The Mirror, Ten Hag said to Sky Sports about Rashford, “What he can take from the past is that he can score a lot of goals.” He is capable of scoring goals against both the greatest defenders and the largest opponents in the globe. It’s all about him; if he plays with the correct attitude on Sunday, he can’t be stopped.

It has to do with him. He has plenty of opportunities to score goals in each of the games against City, so of course we have to accommodate him. Additionally, he has a tonne of goals, particularly at the Etihad, versus Man City.

In my opinion, Marcus Rashford needs to improve.

Marcus Rashford of Manchester United needs to play better against Manchester City on Sunday in the Manchester derby, in my opinion.

I am aware that Rashford might not enjoy taking centre stage roles in offensive plays. The 26-year-old is best utilised widely, in my opinion.

But Rashford must perform well, or at least try to, wherever he begins. We are aware of his many qualities. He must demonstrate that in the Manchester derby versus City, who have a number of elite players and home pitch advantage.
