‘Absolutely brilliant…’: Paul Scholes amazed by one Manchester United star v Man City

Recently, Marcus Rashford has been in the news because of criticism of his performances while wearing Manchester United’s uniform.

In the midst of all that commotion, and in the run-up to his team’s derby match against Manchester City, he responded promptly to critics in the press.

Many people say they would rather see Marcus Rashford speak on the pitch, and you can bet your bottom dollar that he did exactly that on Sunday at the Etihad, despite the fact that his side disappointed him by winning 3-1.

Many were expecting Pep Guardiola’s team to destroy its neighbours, but Erik ten Hag, the guy assigned to play down the middle, had other plans. After just eight minutes, he scored the first goal with a thunderbolt from distance.

Paul Scholes told Premier League Productions on March 3, 24, at 4:25 p.m., that the Manchester United academy product’s efforts were “absolutely brilliant.”

Strikes like that were Paul Scholes’ bread and butter during his prime, so he would have been happy of the effort from his fellow Manchester resident.

The only problem is that it all came down to the same old tale in the end—another loss for Manchester’s red half versus their rapacious neighbours, with Marcus Rashford emerging unscathed.

The goal by Marcus Rashford versus Manchester City

“Impressively intelligent,” Scholes declared. The custodian gives it straight to the point. Considering that he allowed Fernandes to enter, I believe Dias will feel a little let down.

But Marcus Rashford’s strike was incredible. Your eyes brighten up and you think, “I’m going to give it a real hit,” and he does, when it comes back to him. Additionally, it always looks better when it enters off the crossbar.

You may bid Manchester United farewell to Champions League play.

The fact that ten Hag and his players now have virtually no prospect of placing in the top four makes it considerably worse for them.

Man United and fourth-place Aston Villa, who triumphed on Saturday, are separated by eleven points. Additionally, Tottenham, in fifth place, defeated Crystal Palace.

Man United’s only chance of qualifying for the Champions League is if they finish in fifth place, but even then, they trail Spurs, who have played one fewer game, by six points.

Now you have to keep an eye on the teams that make up the remaining 10, including West Ham United, Newcastle United, Brighton, and Wolves.
