Manchester United is about to take a significant first move towards restructuring their team.
Having confirmed his ownership of the club, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to add Omar Berrada and Dan Ashworth to the backroom staff. As he anticipates the team to be proactive in preparation ahead of next season, club great Gary Neville has stated that the incoming Red Devils executives already know the fate of current manager Erik ten Hag as well.
On the pitch, there will undoubtedly be a lot of turnover as big-name players are expected to join the team this summer and numerous stars are expected to depart.

According to O Jogo in Portugal, Manchester United has contacted the Gestifute talent agency about a possible €100 million deal for Antonio Silva, the top player for Benfica.
The now-20-year-old was described by FourFourTwo as “leggy, strong, and a leader at the back” when we placed her at No. 10 on our list of the most exciting teens to watch this season. “He’s still raw, but he has remarkable poise; he enjoys nothing more than to attack with all of Pepe’s peak aggression, but he’s also a skilled possessor.”
Ratcliffe would be wise to plan for the future with a wonderkid who can develop before a summer of change, even though a deal for Silva is far from a formality right now. There is a clear need to upgrade in defence.

Benfica has been a popular team to buy from in recent seasons, and Liverpool has also been connected to the teenager. This is likely because many Primeira Liga players have had little trouble transitioning from Portugal to the Premier League.
