In response to the Manchester United reports, Ederson, an Atalanta midfielder linked to the Premier League, stated that he is now playing the best football of his career.

Though he may have established himself as one of the best defensive destroyers of the modern era, a certain Casemiro is unquestionably no Claude Makelele after scoring 11 goals in just one and a half years at Old Trafford. The veteran Brazilian rarely crosses the halfway line and never even considers taking a pot shot from distance.

Ederson, a football player similar to his soon-to-be 32-year-old colleague, is a possible long-term replacement for Casemiro for both Brazil and Manchester United.

The “all-around midfielder” epitome is the “extraordinary” Atalanta star. In addition to having some of Serie A’s greatest ball-winning numbers, he has a career-high six goals this season and breaks into the penalty area like Paul Scholes in his prime.

According to Rogerio Amaral, editor of Vamo Corinthians and Brazilian journalist, United Ederson is described as “a strong player who makes a lot of tackles” in Focus. Nonetheless, he can pass proficiently and frequently completes longer passes. He occasionally plays in attack, although he is not an attacking midfielder.
