In order to get ready for life under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and possibly a new sporting director as well, Manchester United is searching for new players. This summer, a young player with “world-class material” is reportedly a top goal.
News of Man Utd’s transfer
Even though the January transfer market hasn’t officially closed yet, the Red Devils have been connected to a number of players in recent weeks due to interest in Newcastle and former Brighton transfer expert Dan Ashworth, who has been linked to Ratcliffe’s takeover. Jason Wilcox might serve as the technical director, and he is seen to be the perfect sporting director.
Inter Milan right-back With manager Erik ten Hag rumoured to be a huge admirer of his Dutch compatriot, Denzel Dumfries has become a target for United, and supporters are eager to see who their new regime chooses as the manager—or if they get a new leader entirely.
Centre back Denzel Dumfries Atalanta Another youngster who is expected to make a quick transition at Old Trafford is Giorgio Scalvini, a 20-year-old who is viewed as an exciting young prospect with great potential. United is said to have made contact. Speaking of defenders, Matthijs de Ligt is another. The Dutchman is now out of favour at Bayern Munich, so he may be interested in moving elsewhere in the summer.
Man Utd gives Leny Yoro priority.
Leny Yoro, a young talent, is one of Manchester United’s “priorities” for the upcoming transfer window, and the team hopes to recruit the defender this summer, according to a recent report from AS [via Sport Witness].
Although Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in signing him, the Red Devils have “recently expressed interest” in acquiring him. However, United’s rivalry with Lille may eventually benefit United if Lille decides to sell to them.

If Yoro and the club can work out a deal this summer, Yoro may be a great addition to the team because he will not only be an important player right away but also a guy who could be a force for at least the next ten years.
The 18-year-old has started 19 games in Ligue 1 this season, and he has excelled throughout that time, averaging 3.1 clearances per game and a 91.8% pass completion rate. As for what he can do as he continues to develop as a player, football talent scout Jacek Kulig describes him as “world-class material”.
Denzel, Dumbries, Villa, Aston, Premier League
Too many famous players have joined United when they are either too old or on the edge of being past their prime, demonstrating the club’s history of bad recruitment when it comes to signings’ ages. Though it would be impossible to list them all, players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Cristiano Ronaldo all stand out.
As his – and possibly Ashworth’s – influence at United hopefully grows, it is hoped that Ratcliffe wants a radically different approach to transfers, with an emphasis on bringing in the best young talent who can help take the club back to the top of English football.
Yoro, who replaces Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire and is younger, would be a great place to start and has the potential to develop into a reliable defensive player for many years.
