Aaron Wan-Bissaka has experienced an injury setback during training, according to Erik ten Hag.
This season, Manchester United Football Club has suffered greatly from injuries, keeping numerous important players out for extended periods of time. Fortunately, players like Luke Shaw and Casemiro are currently available again; nonetheless, Erik ten Hag is still lacking a few important players.
Lisandro Martinez is without a doubt the biggest loss, and Tyrell Malacia and Mason Mount still need some time to recover before they can make a comeback. Specifically, the English midfielder is an oddball.
Ten Hag revealed to the media yesterday that Aaron Wan-Bissaka has suffered yet another setback. The right-back has been sidelined for “a few weeks” due to an injury sustained on the training pitch.
Another one that has had a campaign that comes and goes with issue after issue is “The Spider.” It’s unfortunate because under our Dutch management, he was making great progress, particularly with his offensive style, and he was beginning to display true talent in the last third of the game.
See the entire statement made by the gaffer here:
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka sustained another injury during training last week; he will need several weeks off.” Ten Hag is cited by Fabrizio Romano as stating.
Wan-Bissaka is currently out for several weeks due to a recent injury. The United coach has not disclosed the whole amount of it, but it seems likely that we won’t see the former Crystal Palace player until March at the latest.
It happens at a moment when United is already quite thin at full back. The only other available senior full-back that is healthy and available is Diogo Dalot; Luke Shaw is questionable for Sunday’s match.
Speaking of the Portuguese player, he has emerged as the clear favourite to start at right back throughout the last few of games. When Wan-Bissaka returns, whenever that may be, I wonder whether he will have trouble breaking back into the team.
