But Rasmus Hojlund’s outstanding play in the first half gave Ten Hag’s team the advantage at halftime.

While watching the game from the Sky Sports studio, Roy Keane expressed his satisfaction with a few instances he observed in the first half.

Being a Man United supporter hasn’t always been simple this season, but against West Ham, Keane saw genuine cause for optimism.

Hojlund now appears prepared to guide United’s line for the foreseeable future, especially considering the potential of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

And when Hojlund scored his goal at halftime, Roy Keane was genuinely taken aback by the manner in which Hojlund scored.

The Dane rarely cuts in on his right foot, but he is renowned for his superb left-foot ball striking.

Rasmus Hojlund’s performance for United against West Ham truly impressed Roy Keane.

Regarding the switch to his right foot, Keane expressed his happiness at seeing Hojlund play with such assurance.

“This is really good, this is what the games are about, do you know what?” exclaimed Keane. I adore it.

“You think he’s going to, and he turns to his vulnerability.

An interjection from presenter David Jones said, “Which we haven’t seen too much from him before.”

Keane: “No, not really, but again, that’s fine from a striker when he just creates opportunities; that’s the essence of the game.”

“You know, West Ham has been right in the thick of things, but you want that quality moment and shot power from your best strikers.

“He’s clearly very confident, and he’s got a great goal right now.”

Naturally, a lot of United supporters will concur with Keane’s assessment, and they will have been happy to witness yet another impressive performance against West Ham.

Hojlund was outstanding for Wolves, and it’s obvious that he wants to cap off his first campaign with a bang.

Nevertheless, prior to the match, Gary Neville was drawing attention to a United vulnerability.
