Now that Manchester United has lost badly against Brighton & Hove Albion (3-1), the focus will shift to the start of the UEFA Champions League.
As United plays Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, they have a difficult start to the season. The Red Devils will be aiming for a strong start to the league.
United is presently experiencing a bit of a dilemma as a result of several players being sidelined due to injuries or being suspended by the club for disciplinary reasons.
An update on the injured players was requested of Erik ten Hag prior to the pivotal match in Munich.
“One player might come back.”
Ten Hag provided an encouraging report regarding the injured players to the United website, stating that one player can very possibly make a comeback to the team.
“Maybe, maybe one player, but Munich is a little bit too short,” the Dutch manager stated, providing a welcome lift as the schedule starts to become a little easier.
The Dutchman added, “But I think, yes, players will return when we go to Burnley the following week.”
Who may make a comeback next week?
The current state of United’s injury problems is dire. Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw appear to be long-term injured players, making it seem doubtful that Ten Hag was referring to them.
