Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina has been being pushed towards Manchester United for the previous several weeks or so due to numerous claims coming out of Italy, and that is still the case today.

The midfielder is the subject of a La Repubblica story on the Serie A team’s potential transfer dealings. As stated in their title, Manchester United intends to ‘lunge’ for the 26-year-old.

Fiorentina needs some money in order to replace a few players and bring in a new defence.

According to the source, Manchester United and the Moroccan international have a contract.
According to La Repubblica, Erik ten Hag’s team is still interested in the player and is holding off on making a “lunge” to sign him. The Italian team has set a price of €30m and is not prepared to decrease it.

Fiorentina’s relay of La Nazione. It claims that although Manchester United has acknowledged their interest in Amrabat, they have requested Fiorentina for a few further days to complete the transaction.
While trying to get rid of Donny van de Beek, Manchester United sold Fred to Fenerbahçe. They may then use this information to make a counteroffer for the Moroccan, who, according to the article, should show up any day now.

The outlet is still convinced that a deal for Amrabat “will be made,” but the Red Devils “ask for time.” He is currently not thinking about any other possibilities because he is so eager to join Ten Hag’s side.

All parties are eager to wrap up the operation, so it’s now up to Manchester United to present Fiorentina with a compelling offer.
