Player ‘has agreement’ to join Manchester United – Huge salary increase, conveniently in England right now

Rasmus Hjlund, a striker for Atalanta, and Manchester United “have an agreement” to work together. He will receive a significant pay rise if he moves to Old Trafford.

According to Corriere della Sera, the striker is advantageously in England as El Bilal Toure, his replacement, arrives in Atalanta for his medicals.

He will be the most expensive acquisition for the Italian team and it appears that Hojlund, who is “ever closer to leaving Bergamo,” was intended to be replaced by him.

PSG and Manchester United are locked in an auction for the striker, and despite the Danish striker’s preference to sign with the Red Devils, the French aren’t willing to give up.
Eight times his current salary of €600,000, he already has a contract with Manchester United for a salary of €5 million annually. According to Atalanta, they are requesting a fee with a fixed price of €75 million.

Hjlund, meanwhile, has travelled to England, but only to reunite with his team for preseason after they arrived in the country for a match against Bournemouth.

Although there’s no indication he’s planning any transfer business while he’s here, it does present a perfect and convenient opportunity for both parties.

The striker and Manchester United have already reached an agreement, so one important step has already been taken in either direction.
